Nature has always inspired art. And nature has provided the materials that artists use. Nature has also absorbed the pollution, toxic substances and waste that art can, sometimes, generate.
But, artists and craft-makers can create their work with the earth in mind– shrinking their carbon footprint, using non-toxic materials and reusing materials.
Art can also inspire people to care and to take action to build a better world.
