Find a local food pantry that accepts donations from gardeners, through the Ample Harvest site that matches growers with pantries.

Did you know that some animal shelters accept donated produce?  Shelters that house rabbits go through a lot of vegetables.  Rabbits love greens, including greens that humans don’t eat, like carrot tops.  Check with your local animal shelter to see if they can use fresh produce from your garden.
